Brake System
Magnetic Brake

When the motor stops turning, the magnetic brake holds the car safely.

Governor (Over speed governor)

If the car travels faster than rated speed, the governor cut the safety circuit first and it grasps the governor rope to operate the safety gear.

Emergency Light (Ceiling of lift car)

Emergency light is automatically turned on in case of power failure for minimum of 30 minutes.

Interphone / Intercom

Passenger can communicate with the building personnel in machine room, maintenance room, or security room through this interphone in case of the power failure or emergency.

Weighing Device (Below car platform)

Buzzer alarms when the car is overloaded and the door remains opened until overload is eliminated.

Safety Gear

The safety gear grasps the guide rail to stop the car safely.

Limit Switches (Upper and lower)

These limit switches prevent the excessive car travel at the highest and the lowest floor.

Circuit Breaker (Inside Controller)

It protects the equipment from over current.

Emergency Exit (On car top)

Passenger can be rescued from the car through emergency exit in case of emergency. This emergency exit on the celling can be opened only from outside, and the car does not move for safety when it is opened.

Door Lock Switch (Part of door operator)

It prevents the door opening during elevator running. (The Door can open only after the car stops at the floor)

Fascia Plate / Apron

It prevents passengers from failing into the hoist-way, when they try to get out of the car which is stopped between the floors (work by others).

Outside Door Latch (Landing door)

The outside door latch located in upper part of hall door makes it possible to open the door to rescue the passenger in case of power failure or emergency etc.

Safety Edge (Beside car door panel)

It detects the obstacle during the door closing, and reopens the door. Multi-beam sensor can be used together with this safety shoe.
